The plane showed four movies, Mamma Mia! (catchy, but campy), Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D (without 3D glasses, so not good, though it did encourage viewers to read the Jules Verne, so good on it), Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (surprisingly good until the second half, when it became implausible), and Bottle Shock (fantastic!). I then spent the night with an old friend from college who lives in SF, went out with him and some of his/my friends, and then took the BART back to the airport and flew home.
I've seen a bunch of people I wanted to see, which has been fantastic, and I'm going to spend the rest of today wrapping presents and running errands for my family (I always run errands when I visit home, I'm very good at running errands). And I found someone in CC with whom to play chess, which is exciting, I didn't know any of my friends enjoyed chess. Turns out I'm still not very good at chess, but I enjoy it. Heh.

This is just an awesome photograph, a striketeam of some kind on Segways.
Also, I want to state for the record that I do not think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone (I just watched JFK on TV again, and was reminded how much I like that movie).
No new vocab this week, as I'm in the States, and a bit out of it still, as I'm not quite back to West Coast time.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
