Well, that's not entirely true; the first draft of Chapter 2 is finished, and proof-read, and emailed to my supervisor. 27 pages of text, 3 pages of works cited, 100 footnotes and citations, and approximately 10,000 words, and it's done.
And the best part is, I still feel the drive to write, so tomorrow I'm going to re-outline Chapter 3, and see if I can make a start on a second draft of that.

In unrelated news, I've nearly decided on a flat for next year. It's a studio, so I get all the same type of furnitur that I have in my current flat, except in a larger room, which still has an en suite bathroom, but also has a small, private kitchen area. I don't know if it has a fridge or an oven just yet, but it looks like it has a stove top, and it definitely has a microwave, sink, and lots of cupboard space. And the rent is the same I'm paying now, though I think I have to pay utilities, which won't be bad (the copy of the lease they gave me to review says Electricity, Gas and Phone are my responsibility...but I have a mobile, so no phone, and I never use heaters, so no gas). So that's awesome.

This is a picture of me reading at my friends Cori and Kerry's wedding, whilst I was still in Berkeley. And the most awesome part? I'm reading from 1 John 4...in Greek. That's right, I read the Greek text, and then our friend Linda read the English.
We're badass.
