iPod Awesomeness

So, I have learned how to upload my DVDs to my computer, and from there to my iPod, which means that now I can enjoy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Spaced and Futurama wherever I go, and soon I will have more of them, because I have a huge harddrive and iPod, and thus I have lots of space for these things. This will make my upcoming trip to Dublin even more enjoyable, as I will be able to watch TV on both flights, to and from. That'll be awesome.

Oh, yeah, I'm going to Dublin on Wednesday. Magic and Abbey, two of my oldest friends in the world, are going to be there all next week, and I'm going over for a day to see them and, for the first time, hang out with US friends in a foreign country, so that, too, will be awesome. Because of this trip, though, I have been working extra hard, so that I don't feel guilty about not doing anything on Wednesday; I have a solid draft of Chapter 2, which I will discuss with my supervisor on Friday, and a good start into Chapter 3 (or, at least, what I am currently conceiving as Chapter 3...we'll see).
------
I need to find a 10"x28" picture frame, for this awesome piece of work by Neil Gaiman and Jouni Koponen. But 10"x28" frames are hard to find, so I might have to have something made custom, which will be easy enough when my loan check clears.
------
This picture is well over a year old. It was taken whilst I was on my fall break from my master's program in Berkeley; as you can see, I have a beard, because I'm engaged in our Octobeard competition (I didn't win, but I was a finalist). The picture is in Provo, UT, with two of my best mates, Joel (with the baby) and James (in the blue). The baby is actually Joel's first child, and I was out there to see him and hang out for a few days, which was awesome. James now has a baby, too, but I've not seen him, yet, as he was born after I moved to Scotland. Hopefully I'll be able to see James after they move to San Francisco, on my trips to and from Scotland with long layovers in the Bay Area. We'll see if that works out.

I'm going to do a bit more work before I have lunch at a friend's flat.
