Apparenly I Suck At Doing This On Time

But again, I'm glad I was delayed for various reasons. First, take a look at this; that's just awesome.

Second, I encountered this. To summarize, people were criticizing this man for using the word 'whiskey' instead of 'whisky' in describing a liquor he had whilst at a restaurant of some kind. Apparently 'whisky', sans E, is used when referring to Scotch or Canadian whiskies, and 'whiskey,' cum E, is for all other liquors of this type.

Bull.

The word is 'whiskey,' people, with an E. Insisting on 'whisky', without an E, is just another step in the dumbing down of the English language that has been going on unchecked for years now (and, I shamefacedly point out, primarily in America).

Anyway...it's snowing here again, so there will be more pictures. And I have plenty of pictures of my trip to the top of Calton Hill last week, but I've not put them onto my computer just yet.

Cheers.
