Well, it snowed overe here! In fact, it snowed all over Britain, and according to
this, it was the worst snow storm in 18 years (the city of London literally shut down, much like Seattle always does when it snows even a little bit). And, since it was one of the few times I've been around actual snow in my life, I got excited and went picture taking.

This is from in front of my building; you may recognize this shot from all the pictures I've posted of it. But now it's with snow!

Here's Arthur's Seat from on top of Calton Hill. Gorgeous.

This is the lawn in front of New College, where I attend lectures. In the background on the right you can see Edinburgh Castle.

And here's the castle again, through some trees, from in front of my school building.

This is the courtyard of the Medical Museum on Nicholson St., just 'round the corner from my flat. The couple in the picture were also taking pictures.

The Gardens below the castle and in front of my school, by Waverly Train Station. This is where the winter carnival was set up.

The Old Calton Burial Ground, an amazing graveyard on Calton Hill. It was gorgeous.

And this is the same shot, except better, I think; this has given me an idea for a story.

This is New College, and the lawn in front of it. Hogwarts!

Here I am walking around in the driving snow, though you can't really see that in this picture.

You can see it a bit better in this picture; it was really coming down and being blown around on Northbridge.

Out in front of my flat again, some cars covered in snow.

And the city of Edinburgh, including part of Waverly Train Station, from Calton Hill also.
It's starting to snow again as I write this, one day late (sorry, I was playing in the snow). It's supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow throughout most of Britain.
I've not been able to concentrate on work lately, so I'm giving today up as a bad job and will start again tomorrow.
No vocab this week. Mostly just the snow pictures. It was awesome.
